loquillo is operating since the end of the seventies (but it also might be a little longer), and the days when he was most famous are long gone. i for one can't understand why, because the records he's making nowadays are as beautiful as ever. but this one dates from when loquillo still was a pretty big name. it consists of charming, simple rock 'n roll. it's like the first warm day of spring and walking on gras with your bare feet. and maybe have a nice mexican beer a little later.but don't let this fool you. it's not all simple feelgood music that's on this record. for instance, 'en dino's a las diez' is a charleston-like waltz-type of a song that takes you back to the twenties.if you're into simple yet open-minded rock and if you don't mind if a band doesn't pin itself to one style, you must check out this one.
